Snow Snow and More Snow- Happy Birthday to all Leap Year Babies

Well today was a great day to start out. Everyone was happy to get outside, munching on their haypiles till the snow started.
I think my horses become this sudden prima donna and they freak if there coats get wet, let alone snow on it.

I tried without vail to keep them outside, they fussed and paced the fence lines and called till they once again pulled my heart strings and won their way back into the barn.

Stalls not done, they did not care, just "Get me Inside- NOW!!"
They were confused when I came back and turned them out in their groups of two, so that I could get their stalls done.
Wonder and Joey were the best of the bunch, though Star went out with Angel and when called back in he decided that he wanted to stay outside not realizing that hay was in his fresh stall.
Once realized he was much happier to stay inside.

Misty one of our Adoptive horses and is boarderd here is the funniest. When it is clean out and fresh shavings and pellets added to her stall. I just wait for the moment of bringing her in.
You bring her in and start to count- 1-2-3 and down she goes, rolling and just loving it. You would think that she was just in love with fresh shavings. She is a Hoot!!

Hence though with all not many stalls got cleaned today. Hopefully the snow will relent and let them out to play tomorrow. Snow or no snow OUTSIDE. :))
ROb will be off to pick up the load f shavings and pellets and fresh stalls shall be for 2 weeks to come.
Adding pellets to the barn has been wonderful and have made things easier for cleaning. Just wish that my arms agreed with that statement.
This water issue does have to be fixed, having a hose explode in your face 2 days in a row, just does not do. Though thankful that it was not as cold and my face, coat and pants did not freeze me solid.
But having the kids suck up the warm water makes up for it.
Well it is late and need to sleep, have friends coming tomorrow to visit and help out.
So better get to sleep and be bright and bushytailed for the day.

That's a great name - Leap O'Faith! Would you call him Leap or Faith, though, when calling him? Since he's sort of cereal-coloured, I was going to suggest Oatmeal, or Weetabix, or Brandon. Or Valentine, since he was saved in February. But I think the name you chose is better. Great blogsite!
June.
